Artificial insemination
The biggest reward from fate – This is motherhood! But, unfortunately, more and more often in our crazy world of constant stress, poor environment and bad habits, the diagnosis made in the medical card becomes an obstacle to one’s cherished dream – INFERTILITY… Both male and female infertility is the reason why a couple cannot conceive, carry and give birth to a child naturally.
We want to appeal to all couples who have been given this, at first glance, terrible diagnosis:
Infertility – this is not a sentence!
Modern Israeli reproductive medicine is not only one of the most effective and innovative in the world, but also the most effective! The latest equipment, constant improvement and scientific research in this area, as well as the invaluable experience of our doctors, allow us to cure various forms of infertility in Israel, carry out insemination procedures, IVF (IVF), as a result of which, to the delight of mom and dad, healthy babies are born! If you have been diagnosed with infertility, do not despair:
- Firstly: based on our experience, this diagnosis made in Russia or the countries of the former Soviet Union is not always confirmed. Very often we are faced with the fact that the results of tests and diagnostic procedures performed using imperfect equipment are not completely reliable and the diagnosis is not confirmed or partially confirmed.
- Secondly: the therapy used in Russia to treat various types of infertility is fundamentally different from Israeli methods – unique experience and professionalism of Israeli specialists, innovative methods, and most importantly – faith and hope truly work miracles!
Important to know! Various causes of infertility are treated with different methods, the choice of which depends on the diagnosis and individual characteristics of the couple, and is prescribed by a doctor after a thorough examination.
Before you begin infertility treatment, you will need to go through the following preparatory steps:
- Diagnostics and diagnosis for both spouses.
- Preparatory therapy, which includes treatment of established sexually transmitted infections, correction of endocrine and metabolic disorders (weight loss for obesity, treatment of thyroid diseases, chronic diseases).
- Direct treatment with the prescribed method
Artificial insemination methods used in Israel:
If spontaneous pregnancy is possible, Israeli specialists use stimulation of ovarian function, regulate the menstrual cycle using hormonal therapy, restore, if necessary, the normal anatomy of the pelvic organs (laparoscopically), and also perform insemination with the sperm of the husband or donor.
If none of the above methods are suitable or have not brought the desired pregnancy, then our patients undergo an IVF program in various modifications.
IVF (in vitro fertilization) – This is a method of fertilizing an egg outside the woman’s body, in which after 2-5 days of development the embryo is transferred into the woman’s uterine cavity. IVF is one of the most effective methods of conception in case of established infertility.

IVF in Israel
So, you have completed all the necessary diagnostic procedures and are starting the long-awaited process!
Stages of IVF:
- Specialist consultation. After a preliminary consultation with a specialist, you are assigned a specific IVF protocol.
- Stimulation of ovulation. The doctor prescribes hormonal ovarian stimulating drugs selected specifically for you.
- Puncture of follicles. After 8-12 days, using an ultrasound, the doctor determines the maturity of the eggs and you are taken from the mature eggs and follicles. The procedure takes place in the clinic under light anesthesia.
- Collecting sperm from a man. At the same time, the sperm of the future father is collected.
- Fertilization of eggs. The eggs collected from you are fertilized with previously prepared sperm. The resulting embryos are placed in special incubators for 2-5 days.
- Embryo transfer. The transfer of grown embryos into the cavity of your uterus occurs on the 3rd or 5th day after fertilization. This procedure is completely painless and takes only a few minutes. Usually 2-4 embryos are transferred, and the remaining ones are frozen in case another IVF attempt is needed.
- Hormonal support. Then you will be prescribed hormonal therapy to maintain and subsequently maintain the pregnancy.
On days 10-14 after replantation, you can take a pregnancy test or take a test for the hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin)
Preparation for the IVF procedure, including the procedure itself, usually takes from 1 to one and a half months. Typically, our patients can choose one of two options for IVF: in two visits to Israel, or in one. The first visit includes – diagnostics and preparation for the procedure and takes a total of 12 – 14 days. Second stage – egg retrieval and replanting – from 3 to 6 days, depending on how long the embryos are grown (3 days or 5 days). After the transplant and further therapy are prescribed, you will be able to go home.
Today, the possibilities of reproductive medicine in Israel make it possible to use innovative infertility treatment regimens and get the desired pregnancy even without undergoing the IVF procedure itself!
- Planning the most favorable timing of conception
- Correction of hormonal profile
- Artificial insemination (with the sperm of a spouse or donor)

- IVF (IVF) or in vitro fertilization (with your own or donor eggs/sperm)
